Welcome to EJAL!

Our Open Intake Hours are available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No appointment is necessary during these times. Simply bring along a valid Maryland ID and any insurance information, and our team will be ready to assist you.

If you prefer to schedule an appointment with our intake coordinator, please give us a call at 410-761-3686 before 7:00 PM. Rest assured, even if you reach out after hours, someone from our team will be available to take your call. In the rare event that our on-call staff is unavailable, please leave your name and telephone number, and we'll ensure to promptly return your call.

Most intake appointments can be scheduled for the following day. When you arrive for your appointment, please remember to bring a valid Maryland ID, along with your Insurance Card if you have Medical Assistance or Medicare.

During your intake process, a urine sample will be required. It's important to note that all clients must test positive for opioids unless you are a returning client. Your intake process typically takes approximately an hour and a half to complete. You'll have the opportunity to meet with the doctor for a physical exam, and your counselor will guide you through the clinic and accompany you to the nursing station for medication.
